Facebook refuses to Boost corn muffin post for gun blog!

I don’t normally write posts like this, but here we go…

Rifleshooter.com is new to Facebook. Facebook has a boost option to allow companies to promote their page through what is known as a sponsored link.

During the past weeks I’ve tried to boost the most innocuous shooting or reloading posts and they’ve all been rejected, to the point that it became amusing. Ironically, Facebook boosts similar posts and even provided me with a free $10 credit.

Well, on November 22, after my 2 and 5 year old boys made some Thanksgiving Day corn muffins, I decided to post them with the text “Who likes corn muffins? Happy turkey day!”. Guess what, my ad was not approved…
